Arvind P. Mathur, Chairman, Private Equity Pro Partners has nearly 35 years experience, which includes – Head, Capital Markets at the Asian Development Bank (ADB) and senior capital market and advisory roles at Citibank and Standard Chartered Bank. His extensive experience has spanned several aspects of private equity commencing from fund formation to investments to value addition to investee companies to multiple types of exits. He has been instrumental in the creation, structuring and placement of a nearly $1 billion India Infrastructure Fund. In addition, he helped establish funds such as the Asian Infrastructure Fund ($780 million), the Asian Infrastructure Mezzanine Capital Fund ($265 million), the Asian Equity Infrastructure Fund ($400 million), the Infrastructure Development Finance Company (IDFC) and the AIG Sectoral Equity Fund ($110 million).
Arvind is a qualified Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and Financial Risk Manager (FRM). He has attended short management courses at Columbia Business School, Cornell University and Harvard Business School.
Arvind has delivered executive education workshops in private equity, M&A, equity valuation, distressed investing, fixed income portfolio management and risk management in several countries such as India, China, Taiwan, Singapore, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Dubai etc.
