Nishi Podhar, a Performance Improvement expert, brings to the team 8 years of differentiated experience in implementing Lean, Kaizen, TPM, TQM, Problem Solving & Improvement tools in companies in India, as well as in countries such as UK, Switzerland, Sweden, and Czech Republic. She has worked as a Senior Consultant in Ernst & Young, as a Manager in Nerolac Paints and as a consultant at Kanzen Institute Asia Pacific Pvt. Ltd. During this period, she has worked in a number of industries including Jewelery Manufacturing & Retail, Foundry & Supplier to Aluminum Foundries, Printing, Business Process Outsourcing (BPO), Precision Tools Manufacturing, Metal Extrusion, Steel, Heavy Engineering, Pharma, Paint Manufacturing etc.
She earned her Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Wellingkar Institute of Management, Mumbai. Her training under Dr. Gondhalekar, consultant & author of the book “Chronicles of a Quality Detective” and Mr. Masaaki Imai, who is attributed for introducing the word ‘Kaizen’, to the English speaking world, through his best selling book – ‘Gemba Kaizen’ has provided her with a unique skills set to articulate and resolve management problems.
She has been sharing knowledge and experience on Kaizen through various platforms such as – N.L. Dalmia Institute of Management, Wellingkar Institute of Management, Mithibai College etc.
